Course Description:
This comprehensive 80-hour program is specifically designed to meet the rigorous training requirements mandated by the COMAR regulation 10.07.14 for individuals preparing for licensure of Assisted Living Programs in Maryland. Developed in collaboration with the Office of Healthcare Quality, this course ensures adherence to regulatory standards set forth by the state.
Participants will receive extensive training on the intricacies of COMAR regulation 10.07.14, gaining a thorough understanding of its significance in maintaining quality care and safety within assisted living programs. Through a combination of lectures, case studies, and interactive discussions, participants will delve into the specific requirements and guidelines outlined within the regulation.
Key topics covered include licensing procedures, documentation standards, and compliance measures necessary for regulatory adherence. With a focus on practical application, participants will learn how to effectively navigate the regulatory landscape, identify compliance gaps, and implement best practices to achieve and maintain licensure status.
Throughout the program, emphasis will be placed on fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within assisted living programs. Participants will also gain insight into working collaboratively with the Office of Healthcare Quality to ensure compliance and promote resident well-being and safety.
